What to expect...
Our clinic uses Rock Tape brand kinesiology tape which is 97% cotton and 3% nylon, making it hypo-allergenic. The tape is 2 inches or 4 inches wide and is custom cut along its length. Patient's can expect the benefits of kinesio tape to last between three to five days. Patients are encouraged to practice and compete as usual, as there are no movement restrictions that occur with its use. Kinesio tape maintains its benefits while in the pool, or even after the post-workout showers. For our water athletes, specific H2O brands are available for use.
Kinesiology taping works well with chiropractic care by encouraging movement, decreasing pain, and speeding up the healing process of many of the same conditions you may be seeing your chiropractor for.
